Dr. Love and the staff at Clermont Family Eyecare believe that there is nothing more rewarding than giving back to the community. Dr. Love volunteers as an internship preceptor in the Health Careers Academy at East Ridge High School and the University of Central Florida Healthcare Management Program. Also, Clermont Family Eyecare received the opportunity to participate in Clermont’s Senior Expo and Health Fair in 2019.
Furthermore, we like to support independent frame companies with purpose and passion like Eyes of Faith. A portion of every purchase supports Wear & Share®, which helps fund Christian missions that deliver the gift of sight and the message of Jesus Christ to people in need. As an added surprise, Eyes of Faith eyewear has a scripture on the inner temples.
Imagine not being able to see, simply because you don’t have access to eye care or glasses. About 1.2 billion people in the world deal with this reality. Something as simple as an eye exam and a pair of glasses can make a huge difference in their life. This difference is why we donate to Optometry GIVING SIGHT. Be sure to keep an eye open for the annual World Sight Day Challenge in the fall.
Our newest endeavor is See Kids Soar through Essilor Vision Foundation. The program strives to help children see the world more clearly so that they can have a brighter future. We donate to this great cause because Essilor Vision Foundation partner with communities to provide vision screenings, vision exams, and eyeglasses to children in need at no cost to their families. Feel free to give at anytime by calling our office.
We are excited to be a part of the Florida’s Vision Quest. The Vision Quest refers children who failed a school based vision screening and who are without insurance to participating eye doctors. We help by providing eye exams and glasses free of charge. Florida’s Vision Quest has been able to change over 200,000 children’s lives by improving their academic and social success through the gift of sight.
